What is a Foster Family?
Foster Family cares and fosters a child that has been totally or partially left without parental care. It can be also assigned to help dysfunctional or socially unadjusted child.
The Kinds of Foster Families:
-numerous family – from three to six children
-specialized – for maximum three children that require special care and attention (handicap children or socially unadjusted)
-characterized by family emergency – receives usually maximum three children for temporary accommodation (no longer than 12-15 months), until their life situation is normalized.
What is the difference between foster and adoption family?
Adoption is to receive a child to the family of a marriage or an unmarried person. In result of adoption a child receives the same rights as own child, biological parents authority is taken away from them in fullness and a child’s family name and birth certificate is changed.
Friendly Family
It is a family that according to the principle of voluntarism as “aunt” or “uncle” supports a child within an institution.
What is a Family Orphanage Home?
It is a form of care – fostering institution, usually led by marriage that provides care and foster for no less than six to maximum eight children.
Voluntarism
Usually addressed to young people and is a support to substitution families by helping in caring over children and cooperating with institutions working on behalf of children and families.
